Drawing is mediation

Work in progress. It's been a good form of distraction and meditation right before bedtime.

3-Tones Colorblend Nails

Did my colourblend nails the LAZY WAY
I found a pack of abandoned cosmetics sponges in my drawer. Got them from SASA a couple of years back and they come with triangular tips, so the sponge is shaped like a mini house.

Nail polishes were left opened for faster application.
1. Use just one side of the triangular tip (Fits the length of my nails)
2. Quickly apply a generous stroke across the sponge (like how i did the white, orange, pink)
3. Dab onto nails, or lightly press it on your nails and apply in a left-right rocking motion

Here's how the first coat looks like.
Repeat another coat of the colours when it's semi dry

Left the 2nd coat to dry while i watched TV
Folding the cotton pad into half, I wiped off the excess on both sides and on top of the nail.
Then move into the tighter angles with a cotton bud.
Happy Nails for the Week!

Oh yah, dont forget the base and top coat!

Taiwan: Yehliu Geopark

Taiwan: Yehliu

We were deciding between Mao Kong Tea plantation or Yehliu as they were at different ends on the map.
Yehliu Geopark for the sea erosion we went.. don't know if it was a good choice due to the SCORCHING HEAT and the 1hr plus bus ride up!

I don't like looking at flowers and shit but these rock landscape seems pretty interesting while i was googling Taiwan before the trip.

It was surprisingly crowded and this very day we where there,
Taiwan had its highest temperature recorded at 38 Degree Celsius.
We.were.fried.

The few photos that we had without someone photobombing! Was just tooooo crowded

Instructions before we go near the highlight of the place

queuing up this path to meet the Queen

Here's the legendary Queen head, it's not gonna last much longer, so if you want a photo with it better go soon. See what i mean abt the photobomb.

The boys surrendered to the heat and seek the only 'shelter' available on this 'dessert land'

It was much greener at the other end of the park.

After a whole afternoon at Yeh Liu, this bowl of beef noodles tasted exceptionally awesome.
Literally comfort food with air-con <3 nbsp="" p="">

Amazing Dove Ad - Beautysketches

Taiwan: Jingtong Station

Back to my Taiwan post - JingTong Station

We tried another version of  'bian dang' from a new station. Should be the main station if I didnt remember wrongly. Perfect for the budget trip hehe.

Jingtonng station is located right at the end of the map. Which is honestly a pain to get there, but deffo too expensive to cab there! Maybe because we're just unlucky that we never ever gotten a seat on the train.

The whole place is pretty much filled with stores selling bamboos.
Tourist go all the way there to write their wishes on it.
I'm assuming they prolly clear them our on a yearly basis??

we've also purchased and sent out a wooden post card to Cheemun in Singapore.

Selecting our bamboo to share, about a dollar each.

iphone is incredible aint it, translating my wishes to chinese before i write them down in case the Gods in Taiwan cant understand them!

Then to what we pretty much came here for:
KongMing Ding
once again sharing 4 ways hehe

Sara was very serious with writing her wishes!
Took a really long time as well.

and now we know why...

The heat was killing us and very considerate FY went off to get some ice shavings to feed us.

So this is like the very end of the train track (last station on the map remember?)
We had to hold on to all 4 corners while the lady lit up the kongmingdeng from underneath.

towards the part where it's almost fully inflated, the lantern was seriously too hot to hold on to.
Up we go! I feel so sorry for Fangyi as we captured his 'Awesome love life and SEX!' on camera and it's shared on facebook with all our other photos from the trip.

Time for tourist shots

Dude is telling me to do some cheesy connecting heart-shape handsign.
Obviously not gonna do it!

<3 group="" p="" photo="">

This photo is hilarious! I'm so sorry sara, but i really wana document this moment
hahahahahaha!

Yea yea...blame the track for trippin you.

Favourite photo of the day!
